The Strokes - Jimmy Kimmel 2016

Electronic Countermeasures created and designed strips of harsh monochromatic grain for The Stroke’s performance of “Threat of Joy” for the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show. The video canvas included a triple V of LED enclosing the band that required the animation to work as a textural back drop that carried the edgy and raw nature of the performance. Designed and animated by Electronic Countermeasures’ Kerstin L. Hovland, production and lighting design by Tobias Rylander.
