Blue Man Group at Monte Carlo Resort & Casino

3D modeling, animation, compositing, and projection mapping for the opera boxes for the Blue Man Group show at the Monte Carlo Las Vegas Resort and Casino.  Bathed in blue light, eyeball drones chirp eerily while gazing through portals to an otherworldly sky.  Blue Man Group’s move to the Monte Carlo meant a major theater remodel, but it was decided that the ornate opera boxes built for the previous show would be too much to remove, so rather than mask them, they embraced them.  Electronic Countermeasures did the 3D mapping and several pieces of content that used the geometry of the physical ornate structure to suggest moving shadows under a setting sun, rippling waves, rearranging boxes and everybody’s favorite “shattering architecture” moment at the top of the show.
